Kirrane says he wants to lower the cost of living in New Jersey through a mortgage relief bill he authored (temporary federal interest relief, 30 and 40 year fixed mortgages, funded by taxes on speculative and foreign real estate purchases) and by fully funding the Gateway rail project.
Kirrane says he would restore the full SALT deduction, eliminate taxes on retirement income, and reduce and streamline taxes for families. He also says he would cap administrative costs in federal programs at 10% and require annual audits.
