Where they stand
In their own words, from their campaign and official websites, summarised in plain English. Under each issue, their Senate votes: Final passage votes in the Senate in the last two Congresses (2023 to now); for a bill blocked without a final vote, the last vote to end debate on it (cloture: 60 votes needed); and votes on amendments, each filed under the issue the amendment is about and checked by a person. Bills are matched to each issue by Congress.gov's own topic for the bill (and its subject tags, unless it is a catch-all bill with dozens). Closest votes first: a lopsided vote says little about where anyone stands.
Economy and cost of living
Graham says she wants lower taxes and less red tape for small business, more investment in workforce training and the skilled trades, and work requirements for able-bodied adults. She also says she will back an energy approach that lowers costs.
Graham says she will work to make the Trump tax cuts permanent and root out waste and fraud in federal spending. She says she wants to stop Washington from mortgaging children's future and points to her past management of a $90 million state agency budget.
“She will work to make the Trump tax cuts permanent, root out waste and fraud in federal spending, and stop Washington from mortgaging our children's future.”
Graham says she will fight to keep rural hospitals open and cut the waiting lists and red tape that keep people with disabilities from working and living independently. She also says she will hold the VA accountable so veterans get the care they earned.
Graham says she supports finishing the border wall, fully funding border enforcement, and ending catch-and-release. She says she will back removal of criminal illegal aliens, fight fentanyl trafficking, and oppose amnesty and taxpayer-funded benefits for those here illegally.
“Secure the border. Enforce the law. Stop the fentanyl.”
Graham says she will defend the right to keep and bear arms. She opposes gun registries, red-flag laws and bans on firearms law-abiding people own, and supports concealed carry reciprocity.
Graham says she opposes efforts to defund the police and supports the funding, training and equipment officers need. She says she backs tough penalties for fentanyl traffickers and violent repeat offenders.
Graham says she will stand up for parents' rights in their children's education and protect girls' sports and locker rooms. She also says she supports real investment in workforce training and the skilled trades.
Graham says she will fight for the resources military installations and service members need and hold the VA accountable for veterans' care. She describes a strong military and secure borders as priorities.
Graham says she supports voter ID, accurate and up-to-date voter rolls, and transparent, secure vote counting. She opposes federal takeovers of state elections and any effort to let noncitizens vote.

Money
From FEC filings for 2025–26. Outside spending is money a group spends on its own about a candidate — TV and online ads, mail, canvassing. It is not a donation to the campaign, and the candidate does not control it. Supporting means it was spent to help that candidate win; Opposing means it was spent to defeat them, usually on attack ads. Groups report it within 24 or 48 hours as the election nears. Raised is the campaign's own fundraising, as of its latest quarterly report. Largest donors come from each outside spender's own FEC receipts, with each donor's share of its itemized receipts; donors under $100,000 are not named. People are shown with the employer and occupation they reported. A donor that is itself a political committee is shown with its own largest donors. Companies and nonprofits don't report their funders to the FEC, so the trail ends there, and the page says so.

Other
Debate answer on national security and Taiwan
During an Aug. 18 televised debate with Rep. Ralph Norman, Graham was asked whether Taiwan and the South China Sea are important national security issues and said she was not informed on national security. NBC News reported the answer drew concerns from some Republicans about her readiness on national security and foreign policy, and The Hill reported she was slammed over her lack of knowledge on national security issues.
Response: I’m just going to be honest here. I’m not, on national security, I’m not that informed on national security, so, but I do support the military.
