ICE Director Todd Lyons wraps up the week's operations

this week here at the Innovation lab was really important to a very successful operation we had in Boston Massachusetts my hometown with the help of the Innovation lab we able to arrest 370 illegal aliens in the Boston area 205 of those were very serious criminal cases that include murder drug trafficking fentanyl trafficking child rape sex crimes so really because of the work of the Innovation lab we were able to go and make Boston a safer place this week uh two of the most egregious cases that is have arrested one was a Chinese National who was acting as a foreign agent collect intelligence while he was here in the United States we also arrested a TDA Venezuelan gang member TDA is one of the most violent gangs that's here in the United States he was wanted for murder he killed two female TDA gang members that were trying to leave the gang so these are just some of the criminal cases that ice are removing from our neighborhoods every day so in our Boston operation this week we received uh 44 kg of meth they did 5 kg of fentanyl which is a weapon of mass destruction we also got 1.2 kg of cocaine and we also seize three firearms at the same time so overall not only we removing Public Safety threats but we're getting all these harmful drugs and these Firearms out of our neighborhoods there's no way that all these operations can take place without our state and local partners since January 20th we've brought on 320 local sheriffs Police Department state agencies that we brought on our 287g program that's going to help us get the worst of the worst and get these criminals out of our neighborhood we have a total of 454 agencies that are now currently working with ice to move the Ice mission forward to help us remove the worst of the worst you have the opportunity to self Deport and go home it'd be in your best interest to do that if ice finds you and you are committing crimes in the United States or you're here legally and have a final order you will be removed back to your home country regardless of what you hear about ice ice is a premier law enforcement agency we are here to make neighborhood safer our families live in these neighborhoods please don't listen to what you hear in the media what I suggest is that I invite everyone to go to our social media platforms at x Facebook and Instagram see every day the public safety threats that we're removing from our communities and from the United States
