HSI's top five. Here are five impactful cases that Homeland Security Investigations has worked around the country to keep Americans safe. Number one.

In Southern California, HSI and CBP seized 137 kg of methamphetamine and arrested two criminals on federal narcotics charges. This represents approximately 1.3 million dollars worth of methamphetamine that never made it to American streets. Number two.

In North Carolina, HSI special agents captured a fugitive, an alleged boss of a terrorist organization, who was holding his own wife hostage. HSI special agents and our partners prevented his escape, rescued his wife, and uncovered weapons, cash, and vital evidence, shutting down this criminal's reign of terror. Number three.

In Washington state, HSI special agents and our partners at the ICAC Task Force arrested three people suspected of sexually exploiting kids, and rescued five potential sex trafficking victims, providing victim services to those who need them. Number four. In Kentucky, HSI and CBP worked together to intercept illegal firearm components and seized more than 31 kg of methamphetamine during separate enforcement actions.

Another example of HSI stopping dangerous criminal activity before it hits our communities. Number five. Off the coast of Florida, HSI special agents nabbed a suspected smuggler and seized a vessel used for human smuggling.
