HSI's top five. Number one. In Alabama, HSI Birmingham special agents, partnering with the Alabama law enforcement agency, and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, secured a 50-year federal sentence and lifetime supervision for an individual who produced and transported child sexual abuse material involving an infant victim.

Number two. In Washington, HSI Seattle special agents, working with the Seattle Police Department, arrested four suspects and executed seven search warrants in a money laundering investigation targeting a Chinese criminal organization accused of using money mules and shell companies to move more than $11 million in elder fraud proceeds overseas. Number three.

In Connecticut, HSI New Haven special agents with the Homeland Security Task Force, working with the IRS, the United States Postal Inspection Service, and HSI New York, struck a major blow against a counterfeit luxury goods and international money laundering organization by arresting a suspect and seizing more than $1.7 million. Number four. In Arizona, HSI Nogales special agents with the Homeland Security Task Force, working with CBP, stopped more than 50 kg of fentanyl hidden inside a vehicle at the DeConcini Port of Entry before the deadly narcotics could reach American communities.

Number five. And finally, in West Virginia, HSI Charleston special agents and West Virginia State Police arrested a paramedic accused of producing and distributing child sexual abuse material through an online chat application, showing HSI's commitment to stopping predators who hide behind positions of public trust. From protecting children to stopping fentanyl, fraud, and money laundering, HSI special agents are taking on the threats that matter most to American families.
