Economy and cost of living
Conley says she wants to lower costs for working families by cutting utility bills, making housing more affordable, expanding childcare and job training, and passing the PRO Act. She also says she would end the cap on state and local tax deductions and cut red tape for small businesses.
Conley says she would end the state and local tax (SALT) deduction cap entirely. She also says she would ban members of Congress from trading stocks and cap interest rates on federal student loans.

Conley says she would let everyone opt in to a public insurance option, defend the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid, and cap insulin at $35. She also says she would let Medicare negotiate more drug prices and restore Planned Parenthood's Medicaid funding.
Conley says she would expand Medicare to cover vision, dental and hearing, and let Medicare negotiate lower prices on more prescription drugs. The passages do not address Social Security.
Conley says she wants to secure the border, create a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants and Dreamers, and focus enforcement on violent criminals and traffickers. She also says she would require ICE body cameras and visible ID, ban masked agents, and revoke 287(g) agreements.
Conley says she would pass Roe v. Wade into law, protecting access to abortion, contraception and IVF. She also says she would restore federal funding to Planned Parenthood.
Conley says she would expand federal investment in solar, wind, hydro and geothermal power, and cut red tape for renewable projects. She opposes reopening Indian Point and says she wants the US to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement.
Conley, a gun owner who says she respects the Second Amendment, says she would pass universal background checks and close the loophole for unlicensed dealers. She also says she would fund state red flag laws.
Conley says she would end military escalation with Iran and pursue diplomacy, restore USAID funding, and increase congressional oversight of military action. She also says she supports a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians and renewed support for Ukraine.
Conley says she would ban members of Congress from trading stocks, pass term limits, overturn Citizens United, and bar elected officials from becoming lobbyists. She also says she would restore CISA's election security work and pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.
