Economy and cost of living
Vindman says his top priority is lowering costs for working families. He says he is working to crack down on anti-competitive business practices, support small businesses and back unions, and he warns that tariffs can raise the price of everyday goods.

Vindman says he wants to cut taxes for working families, and he has introduced a Back-to-School Tax Credit Act. He says data centers should pay their fair share of costs, and he voted for a bill to protect ratepayers from data center grid upgrade costs.
Vindman says he wants to lower prescription drug costs, strengthen the Affordable Care Act, and protect Medicare and Medicaid. He also leads a bill to lower drug costs for service members, military families and veterans.
Vindman says he believes the border can be secured while treating people with dignity. He supports cracking down on transnational crime and violent criminals, and wants simpler legal pathways for people who pay taxes. He joined community leaders in opposing proposed ICE mega-detention facilities in Stafford and Hanover.
Vindman says he sponsors legislation to restore abortion access nationwide. He says he will vote against any attempt to ban abortion, IVF or contraceptives, and wants servicewomen to have access to reproductive care wherever they are stationed.

Vindman's site says he supports investments in clean energy, reducing carbon emissions and transitioning away from fossil fuels. Another page describes him as backing an all-of-the-above energy strategy to lower gas prices and utility bills. He also says data centers should not be built near national parks, schools or residential areas.
Vindman says he wants to strengthen global alliances and keep the military equipped and ready. He has joined fellow Democratic veterans in demanding that Trump hold China accountable for giving intelligence to Iran, and he says he supports an end to costly foreign wars.
Vindman says he is working to ban Members of Congress from trading individual stocks, taking part in prediction markets, and lobbying former colleagues after they leave office. He says he is running to protect democracy and voting rights.
