Economy and cost of living
Goodlander says she wants to lower costs by taking on corporate monopolies and restoring competition, and to make childcare, elder care and housing more affordable. She also says she wants to raise the minimum wage and protect workers' right to bargain collectively.
Goodlander says she wants a tax system that gives tax breaks to working families rather than to billionaires and big corporations. She also says she would close tax loopholes that benefit Big Oil.

Goodlander says healthcare is a right and that mental healthcare is healthcare. She says she wants to make care and prescription drugs more affordable and accessible, take on big health insurers and Big Pharma, and protect the Affordable Care Act.

Goodlander points to the bipartisan 2012 Senate immigration bill she helped write as her framework. It would give a path to citizenship to people already here, secure the borders and curb fentanyl coming across. She says she will fight to stop fentanyl from entering communities and to bring those responsible to justice.
Goodlander says she wants to combat climate change, stand up to Big Oil, and make America the world's clean energy superpower. She says she would close tax loopholes for oil companies and advance environmental justice.

Goodlander says no politician is above the law, and cites her work as counsel in the first impeachment of President Trump. She says democracy is something people take part in, not watch from the sidelines.
