I'm Todd Lions. I'm the acting director for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. During President Trump's first 100 days, ICE alone has arrested almost 65,000 criminal aliens in immigration violators.
75% of those had criminal convictions or pending criminal charges. Almost 2,300 were gang members with foreign terrorist organization and ties. During the first 100 days of President Trump's administration, ICE alone has removed almost 63,000 people from the United States.
Removal flights go every day to almost every continent in the world. ICE has more 287g partnerships than ever. We have local, state, and county partners nationwide, and we're adding more every week.
ICE is working with all of our federal partners to include the DEA, the ATF, the FBI, US Customs and Border Protection, the Coast Guard, the US Marshall Service, and the State Department. We are working to keep cities and communities throughout the nation safe. We've conducted operations in my hometown in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the state of Florida.
And that's just to name a few. We have operations planned across the country, but not just in major cities. Routine daily enforcement operations are happening all over the country where we're working to remove dangerous criminals from smaller counties, towns, and neighborhoods, which may be in your backyard.
We recently made our 10,000 work site arrests. We are looking at nearly a million dollars in fines for businesses that hire illegal workers. All businesses encouraging illegal immigration should immediately stop with their lawless activity.
