My family have been ranchers in southern Utah since six generations ago. I just want to thank President Trump for being a transparent president who is willing to listen to the challenges we face in the heartland in rural America. It's obvious the president in his previous administration has been very in tune to farmers and ranchers how important they are for the economy of this country and uh it has carried over into the second administration.
You know being a woman in agriculture, a fourth generation farmer, I can say that women in agriculture wear many hats and I can't tell you how refreshing it is to be invited to the table. We have a saying in the west, graze it, log it or watch it burn. And in my home state of Utah right now, we're losing tens of thousands of acres to wildfires.
And it's thanks to the president and fighting back against the ENOS that have captured our public land grazing for their special interests that our ranchers can get back to the land, start producing cattle, and rebuild our domestic herds. So, thank you, Mr. President.
