Economy and cost of living
Hamilton says he wants to lower costs for Kansas families by ending tariffs he says raise prices on groceries, fuel, and housing, requiring Congress to approve any future tariffs, cracking down on corporate junk fees and price-fixing, and helping first-time home buyers and public servants afford homes.
Hamilton says he wants to require congressional approval before new tariffs take effect and publish their cost to families in advance, and to create new tax credits for first-time home buyers, firefighters, police officers, and teachers.

Hamilton says he wants to expand Medicare drug price negotiation and extend those savings to private insurance, reverse Medicaid cuts, restore ACA subsidies, reduce Medicare waste and fraud, reform prior authorization, protect rural hospitals, and reform medical debt collection practices.
Hamilton says he wants to protect Social Security, expand home-based care options for seniors, expand Medicare to cover vision and dental, shield seniors from tariff-driven price increases, and strengthen efforts to fight elder fraud and scams.

Hamilton says he wants to reform the H-2A guest-worker program to permit year-round visas, lower compliance costs for farmers, and give existing agricultural workers a path to legal status.
Hamilton says he wants to protect a woman's right to choose, prevent government interference in personal medical decisions, codify access to contraception into law, and require insurers to cover over-the-counter birth control the same as prescription contraception.

Hamilton says he wants an all-of-the-above energy strategy to lower electricity and gas prices, require data centers to pay their fair share of electricity costs, restore energy production tax credits, and require competitive bidding for transmission projects instead of no-bid contracts to utility companies.

Hamilton says he wants to ban members of Congress and their households from trading individual stocks, cryptocurrency, or gambling on prediction markets, pass 18-year term limits and age limits for Congress and the Supreme Court, strengthen residency requirements for members of Congress, curb dark money in elections, withhold congressional pay during shutdowns, extend the lobbying ban after leaving office, restore protections for Inspectors General, and limit presidential pardon power.

Allegations
FEC complaint alleging improper use of church resources for Senate campaign announcement
The Kansas Republican Party filed a federal election complaint alleging Hamilton illegally used his church's website, YouTube channel and internal email list to promote his exploratory U.S. Senate campaign, constituting an illegal in-kind corporate contribution.
Disputed allegation of church cover-up of sexual abuse
State Sen. Patrick Schmidt, a rival Democratic primary candidate, alleged that Hamilton's church covered up sexual abuse of teenage boys during 2005 and 2006 youth retreats, saying it "betrayed the public trust in the most unforgivable way"; The Kansas City Star reported that court records reviewed by the paper, which largely do not name Hamilton, show the church investigated internally, reported the abuser to law enforcement, and that Hamilton personally played a role in reporting additional abuse, and that Hamilton was not named in documents about the 2005 incident.
