Blakeman says he would make New York more affordable by cutting income and property taxes, ending congestion pricing on his first day, cutting utility costs, and reducing state regulations on families and businesses.

Blakeman says he would end state income tax on the first $50,000 of income for single filers and $100,000 for joint filers, cut income taxes 10% for those earning under $250,000, and cut property taxes 10%. He says he would pay for it by cutting wasteful spending and putting 70% of new state revenue toward tax relief.
