Economy and cost of living
Landsman says he introduced a bill to put money directly into the pockets of working families, paid for by billionaires. He also says he has proposed a plan of 10 bills covering the tax code, housing and prescription drug costs, and has backed bills on AI data center electricity costs.

Landsman says he wants to end the use of AI to deny or delay Medicare claims, and he has introduced bipartisan bills to keep AI from making health care decisions and to protect Medicare Advantage patients from insurers not providing promised coverage. He also introduced a bill to cover follow-up breast exams at no cost for low-income women.
Landsman says he is leading a resolution to end the AI model that Medicare uses to decide prior authorization for seniors, which he says caused delays and denials of care. His plan also includes lowering prescription drug costs for seniors.
Landsman opposes the end of Temporary Protected Status for Haitians and says it is a legal protection, not a loophole. He voted against a Homeland Security funding bill and called for ICE to withdraw from Minneapolis, saying Trump's approach to ICE is a public safety threat.

Landsman joined the House Pro-Choice Caucus and says he will work to combat attacks on reproductive freedom and restore those freedoms after Roe v. Wade was overturned.

Landsman says he has introduced bills to protect residents and small businesses from higher electricity bills caused by AI data centers, and to require federal regulation and public negotiation instead of NDAs. He also called on Ohio's governor to act on Duke Energy rate increases.
Landsman says the US should finish the Iran operation with no expansion and no ground troops, and he voted for a War Powers Resolution on Iran. He supports Israel's right to defend itself and a two-state solution through direct negotiations, and led letters on sanctions over Russia's abduction of Ukrainian children.

Landsman says he introduced bipartisan legislation to ban stock trading and prediction market betting by members of Congress, Supreme Court Justices and other federal officials. He also co-introduced the Drain the Swamp Act, an anti-corruption package, and voted against a bill he says would make voting harder.
