Economy and cost of living
Pappas says he wants to lower costs for families and small businesses on things like utilities, groceries, child care, and housing, and to protect small businesses from tariffs by refunding costs they've paid. He also supports restoring the expanded Child Tax Credit and cutting red tape to boost housing construction.

Pappas says he supports tax cuts for families, including restoring the expanded Child Tax Credit and providing tax cuts for first-time home buyers and to help with energy bills, while opposing tax giveaways for large data centers.

Pappas says health care should be a right, not a privilege, and he wants to protect and strengthen the Affordable Care Act, restore enhanced ACA premium tax credits, expand rural health care access, and let Medicare negotiate lower drug prices while capping insulin costs at $35.

Pappas says he opposed a Republican budget he says would cut Medicare and Medicaid, and that he worked to let Medicare negotiate lower drug prices, cap insulin costs at $35, and limit out-of-pocket costs for seniors.

Pappas says he supports comprehensive immigration reform that protects Dreamers while also strengthening border security through more infrastructure, technology, and border patrol agents. He also says he opposed an ICE detention facility in Merrimack and wants to redirect ICE funding to local law enforcement instead.

Pappas says he wants to codify abortion rights established under Roe v. Wade into federal law, protect the right to travel across state lines for abortion care, safeguard access to IVF, and protect funding for Planned Parenthood and Title X family planning services.

Pappas says he supports an all-of-the-above energy strategy including clean energy investment, EV charging infrastructure, and home weatherization to lower costs and increase energy independence, while addressing climate change and protecting communities from PFAS contamination in drinking water.

Pappas says he supports American leadership abroad, backing Ukraine against Russian aggression with funding and sanctions, and supporting Israel's right to defend itself while also calling for a ceasefire, return of hostages, and a two-state solution. He also supports the CHIPS Act to boost domestic semiconductor manufacturing and protect American infrastructure from foreign influence.

Pappas says he called for a ban on stock trading by members of Congress and forced a House floor vote on the issue as part of an anti-corruption agenda.
