From FEC filings for 2025–26. Outside spending is money a group spends on its own about a candidate — TV and online ads, mail, canvassing. It is not a donation to the campaign, and the candidate does not control it. Supporting means it was spent to help that candidate win; Opposing means it was spent to defeat them, usually on attack ads. Groups report it within 24 or 48 hours as the election nears. Raised is the campaign's own fundraising, as of its latest quarterly report. Largest donors come from each outside spender's own FEC receipts, with each donor's share of its itemized receipts; donors under $100,000 are not named. People are shown with the employer and occupation they reported. A donor that is itself a political committee is shown with its own largest donors. Companies and nonprofits don't report their funders to the FEC, so the trail ends there, and the page says so.

🚨 Arizona Democratic congressional candidate JoAnna Mendoza declined to answer questions about her opposition to Proposition 318, the "Protect Girls Sports in Arizona Act," when confronted on camera by an NRCC spokesperson.
Proposition 318, referred to Arizona voters by the state legislature with unanimous Republican support and unanimous Democratic opposition, would restrict participation in girls' sports and access to female-designated restrooms, locker rooms, and showers based on sex as recorded on an original birth certificate. Arizonans will vote on the measure in November 2026. Mendoza is challenging Republican incumbent Rep. Juan Ciscomani in Arizona's 6th Congressional District, a race the Cook Political Report has rated a toss-up.
Mendoza was also pressed on remarks she made during a 2020 state Senate candidate forum, where she described proposed legislation banning transgender athletes from competing on teams consistent with their gender identity as "harmful" and "toxic." The NRCC has characterized those remarks as calling concerned parents "toxic," but Mendoza's original comments were directed at the legislation itself, not at parents. She did not respond to the question on camera.
Mendoza, a Navy and Marine Corps veteran who served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, has raised over $2.8 million for her campaign and is part of the DCCC's Red to Blue program. Where do you stand on Proposition 318, and does a candidate's willingness to answer questions on contested issues matter to you? 👇

🚨 House Speaker Mike Johnson has publicly endorsed Rep. Juan Ciscomani's re-election bid, calling Arizona's 6th Congressional District a key race and predicting voters will send Ciscomani back to Congress.
Arizona's 6th District is one of the most evenly divided in the country. Trump carried it by less than a point in 2024, and lost it by less than a point in 2020. Ciscomani won his 2024 race against Democrat Kirsten Engel 50.0% to 47.5% — a margin of under 5,000 votes in 2022 made it one of that cycle's closest House contests nationally.
Speaker Johnson's endorsement signals that national Republicans view AZ-6 as a must-hold seat. Republicans currently hold a 220–213 majority in the House, with two vacancies. Johnson has been actively building toward the 2026 cycle, relaunching his joint fundraising committee as the party prepares to defend its razor-thin margin. Approximately $10.4 million has already been raised across candidates in the AZ-6 race.
The general election is scheduled for November 3, 2026. Do you think Speaker Johnson's endorsement will make a difference in this race? 👇

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent traveled to Arizona for a visit focused on the state's economy, manufacturing industry, and business growth. Bessent joined House Speaker Mike Johnson and Arizona Rep. Juan Ciscomani, where the officials toured the Frito-Lay manufacturing plant in Casa Grande and met with business leaders.
During the Arizona visit, Bessent participated in an economic roundtable and discussed efforts to expand domestic manufacturing and investment in the state. The trip highlighted Arizona's growing role in advanced manufacturing and semiconductor production as major companies continue investing in new facilities across the state.
An ad is on this page because its own "Paid for by" line is a campaign in this race; or it comes from a national Senate group and ran mostly in AZ; or it ran mostly in AZ and names a candidate — unless its sponsor is a campaign for some other office. Ads from outside groups appear alongside the campaigns' own.
Campaigns run one text as many separate ads. Identical text from the same sponsor is one card here, marked with its number of variants.
A technique is a specific manipulative move in the wording, found by our model and explained in one line. It is not a claim that the ad is false.
Claims are checked when a reader asks: press "Check this ad's claims" on a card. The check runs once and its result is shown to everyone afterwards. The ten ads with the most money behind them in each race are checked ahead of time.
Claim verdicts say what the cited sources say. A verdict that an ad is wrong or misleading is shown only when it cites an established fact-checker or an institutional record — Congress, a federal agency, a court — and its confidence is not low; a weaker one is not shown at all. Each verdict shows what it rests on and how confident it is. If we got one wrong, press Disagree: a verdict that readers dispute and no one defends comes down.
Video ads come from the campaigns' own YouTube channels; the transcript is analyzed. Meta ads are analyzed on their text; their video and images are not, yet.
