Proud to have the endorsement of the Oklahoma Freedom Caucus.
Tomorrow, Republicans have a clear choice.
I’m the only true Republican in this race with a proven conservative record.
Polls open at 7 AM.
Vote conservative. Vote Mike Mazzei for Governor.
Let’s go win this.
Black-and-White Fallacy: The speaker implies there is only one legitimate choice (themselves) and all others are not 'true' Republicans, eliminating any middle ground or nuance — for example: 'I'm the only true Republican'
Appeal to Prejudice: The phrase 'true Republican' exploits in-group identity by implying others in the race do not authentically belong to the group, appealing to partisan loyalty — for example: 'true Republican'

Black-and-White Fallacy: The claim of being 'the only true Republican' implies all other candidates are not real Republicans, presenting a binary of authentic vs. inauthentic with no middle ground — for example: 'I am the only true Republican in this race'
Appeal to Prejudice: The phrase 'true Republican' exploits in-group identity by implying the speaker alone represents the authentic group, while others are outsiders or impostors — for example: 'I am the only true Republican'
Glittering Generalities: The phrase 'real conservative reform' uses vague, emotionally positive language that sounds noble but carries no specific policy meaning — for example: 'real conservative reform'

HISTORIC ENDORSEMENT
OKGOP FORMALLY ENDORSES MIKE MAZZEI FOR GOVERNOR
The Oklahoma Republican Party has historically stayed out of Republican primaries.
Today, that changed.
The Oklahoma Republican Party State Committee has formally endorsed me for Governor.
And the message could not be clearer:
I am the only candidate in this race formally recognized by the Oklahoma Republican Party as meeting its standards for a Republican candidate.
Republican voters deserve a governor who will actually represent Republican principles, lower taxes, limited government, individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, and constitutional freedom.
I’m honored to have the formal endorsement of the Oklahoma Republican Party.
There is one recognized Republican choice in this race.
Vote Mike Mazzei this Tuesday, August 25.
Glittering Generalities: The sentence strings together vague, emotionally positive terms that sound noble but carry no specific policy meaning — for example: 'individual liberty'
Appeal to Prejudice: The phrase 'Republican voters deserve' invokes in-group identity to imply that only a certain type of candidate is legitimate for that group — for example: 'Republican voters deserve'

I’m honored to have the endorsement of Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler.
Steve knows the importance of public safety, and I’m grateful for his confidence that I’ll work to protect Oklahomans across our state.
He also knows I have a plan to fix education, reduce taxes, and rid Oklahoma of illegal marijuana grow operations tied to foreign interests.
Steve and Christine, thank you for your support.
Watch Steve’s message and vote Mike Mazzei for Governor on August 25th.
Flag-Waving: Patriotic, religious, or in-group identity invoked to validate a position.
Slogans: Catchy phrase used to compress a complex position into an emotionally loaded shorthand.
Conspiracy Appeal: The phrase 'tied to foreign interests' implies shadowy foreign actors are behind illegal operations, invoking a hidden threat narrative — for example: "tied to foreign interests".

Momentum Alert!
New poll: Mike Mazzei leads Republican runoff for Governor with 44%!
18% of voters still undecided, so it's far from over.
We're fighting for:
• Lower taxes
• Stronger schools
• Safer communities
• Conservative leadership that delivers
Let's seal the deal! Vote Mike Mazzei on August 25.
Glittering Generalities: Vague, emotionally positive phrases are used as rhetorical flourishes without specific policy substance — for example: 'Stronger schools'

I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Oklahoma Second Amendment Association.
“Mike Mazzei has returned an OK2A ‘A’ Candidate Survey and participated at our OK2A Candidate Forum for governor. He had a proven conservative voting record while he was in the Oklahoma legislature.
We ask voters to support Mike Mazzei for the next governor to protect and return Second Amendment rights, and secure the liberties we so value.”
As Governor, I will defend the Second Amendment, protect the rights of law-abiding Oklahomans, and never allow our constitutional freedoms to be chipped away.
Glittering Generalities: Vague, emotionally positive terms like 'constitutional freedoms' and 'rights' are invoked as rhetorical flourishes without specifying any concrete policy — for example: 'protect the rights of law-abiding Oklahomans'
Appeal to Prejudice: The phrase 'law-abiding Oklahomans' implicitly constructs an in-group of virtuous locals whose rights must be defended, subtly implying an out-group who would threaten them — for example: 'law-abiding Oklahomans'
Loaded Language: The phrase 'chipped away' is emotionally charged, implying a slow, insidious erosion of rights to provoke anxiety — for example: 'never allow our constitutional freedoms to be chipped away'

An ad is on this page because its own "Paid for by" line is a campaign in this race; or it ran mostly in OK and names a nominee for governor — unless its sponsor is a campaign for some other office (a U.S. Senate or House campaign included), or it also names OK's Senate nominees, in which case it is on the Senate race's page. Ads from outside groups appear alongside the campaigns' own.
The candidates are the ones certified for the November ballot, from the source linked at the top. Governors are state offices, so there are no FEC filings behind this page: no money figures, and outside groups are placed on a side only when they are a campaign or a party committee.
Campaigns run one text as many separate ads. Identical text from the same sponsor is one card here, marked with its number of variants.
A technique is a specific manipulative move in the wording, found by our model and explained in one line. It is not a claim that the ad is false.
Claims are checked when a reader asks: press "Check this ad's claims" on a card. The check runs once and its result is shown to everyone afterwards. The ten ads with the most money behind them in each race are checked ahead of time.
Claim verdicts say what the cited sources say. A verdict that an ad is wrong or misleading is shown only when it cites an established fact-checker or an institutional record — Congress, a federal agency, a court — and its confidence is not low; a weaker one is not shown at all. Each verdict shows what it rests on and how confident it is. If we got one wrong, press Disagree: a verdict that readers dispute and no one defends comes down.
Video ads come from the campaigns' own YouTube channels; the transcript is analyzed. Meta ads are analyzed on their text; their video and images are not, yet.
