How Florida compares
46% of the ads here use at least one manipulation technique, 4th lowest of 14 Senate races.
From FEC filings for 2025–26. Outside spending is money a group spends on its own about a candidate — TV and online ads, mail, canvassing. It is not a donation to the campaign, and the candidate does not control it. Supporting means it was spent to help that candidate win; Opposing means it was spent to defeat them, usually on attack ads. Groups report it within 24 or 48 hours as the election nears. Raised is the campaign's own fundraising, as of its latest quarterly report. Largest donors come from each outside spender's own FEC receipts, with each donor's share of its itemized receipts; donors under $100,000 are not named.

I've got Maxwell Frost and David Hogg from Leaders We Deserve here with me today, because they know what I know: to flip the Senate blue, it's gonna take all of us.
I was outraised 16 to 1 in my primary and Florida Democratic voters picked me anyway. Now I'm running against Ashley Moody – a woman who has never won a single vote for this seat. Ron DeSantis handed it to her, and she's spent every day since doing exactly what he tells her to.
Meanwhile, people here are getting crushed. Insurance, groceries, childcare, rent. Every month it's more, and nobody in Washington seems to notice.
I don't take corporate PAC money and I never have. There's no billionaire coming to fund this campaign – just a bunch of people who care about building a better Florida.
Chip in whatever you can today to join this movement!

Washington should set fair rules, not guarantee profits for favored corporations. Federal sugar policy forces families and local businesses to pay $3.5 billion more every year. That is money coming out of household and small-business budgets right now. Ask Democrat Angie Nixon today if they support cutting federal price supports in Florida.

Card Stacking: The sentence presents a specific dollar figure for producer benefits alongside a vague 'billions extra' for families, framing the issue one-sidedly without context about the sugar program's broader economic effects — for example: omitting any counterarguments about domestic production or jobs
Loaded Language: The phrase 'corporate welfare' is an emotionally charged term designed to trigger resentment rather than convey neutral facts about subsidy policy — for example: 'corporate welfare hidden in your grocery bill'
False Urgency: The phrase 'right now' creates artificial immediacy to provoke an emotional reaction rather than encourage deliberate consideration — for example: 'families are paying for it right now'
Appeal to Fear: The sentence implies a hidden financial threat to ordinary families embedded in everyday purchases, designed to provoke anxiety — for example: 'hidden in your grocery bill'
Name Calling: Labeling Angie Nixon as 'Democrat' in this context functions as a derogatory political tag to prime the audience negatively before the question is even posed — for example: 'Ask Democrat Angie Nixon'
Black-and-White Fallacy: The sentence implies Nixon either supports cost-lowering reform or does not, presenting no middle ground or nuance about the complexity of sugar policy — for example: 'if they support reform that lowers costs in Florida'
Conspiracy Appeal: The word 'hidden' implies a deliberate concealment of costs from ordinary families, suggesting a covert arrangement — for example: 'corporate welfare hidden in your grocery bill'

A grand jury just found that $10 million in taxpayer money intended for children’s healthcare was diverted to fund partisan political ads aimed at defeating a citizen-led ballot initiative.
Let's be clear: our corrupt, unelected U.S. Senator and Attorney General stole $10 million meant for sick kids, and then pocketed it into their political bank accounts.
Under James Uthmeier and Ashley Moody's leadership, corruption has run rampant in Tallahassee. We can crush it this November.
Floridians deserve more than answers. They deserve accountability.
José Javier Rodríguez is running to unseat Uthmeier as Attorney General. As AG, JJR will refocus the office on fighting crime, costs, and corruption.
Donate today to help us elect José Javier Rodríguez as the next Attorney General of Florida, crush corruption, and make sure taxpayer dollars serve Floridians, not political schemes.

!!️Did you see this bombshell report?
Florida Republicans stole $10 million meant for sick kids and spent it on their own political agenda.
A grand jury just confirmed it: $10 million in taxpayer money, meant for a children's health care nonprofit, was secretly funneled into partisan political ads to kill a citizen-led ballot measure.
Senator Ashley Moody. Attorney General James Uthmeier. Two of the most powerful Republicans in Florida, both implicated, both clinging to power, and both betting you'll forget by November.
We won't let them get away with it. The only way to shut this down for good is to beat them both: flip the Senate seat, flip the AG's office, and put people in power who put the needs of Floridians above their political games and special interests.
Chip in now. This is how we hold them accountable.

🎙️ "When they go low, we get loud."
Those powerful words from Florida State Representative and U.S. Senate candidate Angie Nixon perfectly set the stage for the newest episode of Tampa’s favorite grassroots podcast, Reclaiming My Mind—and it is officially live!
For our special "Get to Know Your Candidate" series, we sat down for an incredible, unfiltered conversation with Angie right after she made national headlines for bringing her famous hot-pink bullhorn onto the House floor to fight against the illegal, gerrymandered voting maps.
What makes this episode so unique is exactly when it was recorded. We caught up with Angie right after her fearless bullhorn protest, but just before the state government’s heavy-handed retaliation.
Since we wrapped recording, the establishment has moved fast—she was formally reprimanded by the House ethics committee and, just days later, arrested during a peaceful sit-in protest right inside Governor DeSantis’s office.
Listening to this episode gives you a front-row seat to the raw, unyielding determination of a leader in the thick of the battle. You’ll hear the exact mindset, bravery, and foundational commitment to justice that prepared her to face arrest and reprimand without backing down an inch.

My opponent, Ashley Moody stole $10 million from poor and sick kids.
That’s not my opinion. That’s what a state grand jury found.
The money came from a Medicaid settlement over a company overbilling a program that provides health insurance to poor children. Instead of going back to Florida taxpayers, $10 million was diverted to Hope Florida and ultimately millions flowed into political committees and the Republican Party of Florida.
And the grand jury found that Ashley Moody knew about the plan and authorized her deputy to sign the settlement.
I’m running to defeat Ashley Moody because Floridians deserve a Senator who fights for working families not another rubber stamp for Ron DeSantis and his corrupt political machine.
DeSantis appointed Moody to this Senate seat because he knows she’ll stand with him. I’m running to make sure this seat belongs to the people of Florida instead.
We can beat her, but we need the resources to expose this corruption across Florida and build the movement to flip this seat blue.

MAGA tried scaring me. They arrested me. I face 2 yrs jail. It didn’t matter. I just WON the Democratic nomination for US Sen. in FL.
My name is Angie Nixon, and I am proud to officially be the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Florida.
We did it.
We were outraised 13-1 and we won this primary without taking a dime of corporate PAC money. No corporate checks. No billionaire-funded machine. Just a 100% grassroots campaign powered by people like you.
And they threw everything they had at us:
They tried to intimidate us, silence us, and stop this movement. First, DeSantis called me ghetto. Then when I protested his racist FL gerrymander he had me censured, arrested, and charged w/ trespassing and resisting.
They failed.
Winning the primary was just the beginning. Now, we’re taking this fight directly to a DeSantis-appointed rubber stamp for the MAGA agenda — and polls show this race is neck and neck.
We cannot afford to waste a single day between now and November. Can you rush $25, $10, or even just $5 to our General Election fund before midnight?

Loaded Language: The phrase 'corporate PAC money' is emotionally charged, framing corporate political donations as inherently corrupt or illegitimate — for example: corporate PAC money and billionaire-funded machine.
Repetition: 'No corporate checks' repeats the anti-corporate framing from the previous sentence as a rhetorical device to reinforce the message through rhythm and repetition — for example: No corporate checks and No billionaire-funded machine.
Bandwagon Appeal: 'People like you' invites the audience to identify with a mass grassroots movement, implying collective participation validates the campaign — for example: powered by people like you
Glittering Generalities: '100% grassroots campaign' uses a vague but emotionally positive label to signal purity and authenticity without substantive detail — for example: 100% grassroots campaign
Appeal to Fear: Framing the situation as an attempt to intimidate and silence creates a sense of threat and persecution to rally support — for example: 'intimidate us, silence us'
False Urgency: The phrase frames the primary win as merely a stepping stone, implying urgency and momentum that demands immediate continued action — for example: 'just the beginning'

Last year Josh Weil pushed this district 18 points left. Now, he's endorsing me to finish the job.
I'm Eric Yonce, the Democratic Nominee to beat Randy Fine in Florida's 6th.
Last year Randy Fine was an unknown to most of the nation. Since then he's called Democrats enemies of the United States, called a sitting congresswoman a "Muslim terrorist," and proposed a bill he says will let people run over protesters.
He's shown all he has is hate. And with MAGA's support collapsing, now is the time to take our nation back from them.

Hi, Alex Vindman here with an urgent campaign update.
A GOP megadonor just dropped $2.5 million to try and buy Florida's Senate seat for Ashley Moody. This comes right as polls are deadlocked.
It’s clear: I am MAGA’s #1 target this cycle. The Senate majority will come down to our election in Florida, and special interests are spending whatever it takes to defeat us.
Everything is on the line, and we cannot let them win.
To respond, our campaign needs a LOT of people chipping in today to fight back and reach undecided Florida voters. Please. Donate now.
I’m not taking a dime of corporate PAC money, so your grassroots donation goes a long way to win the most important Senate race in the country. Thank you for your support.

I just made a difficult decision that you need to hear about.
My team and I just finished our all-staff meeting where it was clear that if we had more money, we could do one more push to reach undecided Florida voters.
The money wasn’t in the budget, but I gave the go-ahead anyway.
I know it was a risky decision, but we have to take big risks to flip Florida blue. Polls are statistically tied, and special interests are lining up to try and buy this seat for Ashley Moody.
In a race as close as ours, reaching even 1,000 more voters could mean the difference between victory and defeat.
I made this decision because I know how powerful our movement is. I’m counting on your support to help close our budget gap and flip the Senate majority for Democrats.
So I am asking: Will you make a contribution to flip Florida blue before midnight?

I was just charged with Trespassing and resisting arrest.
I’m Angie Nixon. I took a stand against Ron DeSantis’s illegal gerrymandering and the destruction of the voting rights act.
They called me ghetto, censured me, and arrested me.
I just got out of court and now I’m charged even though I’ve been elected to the legislature by the people and was exercising my right to protest.
They wouldn’t be cracking down if they weren’t scared.
We can not let them silence black voices. They’ve already called me ghetto, they are throwing the legal kitchen sink at us. We know what’s driving them.
We NEED to fight to this - to beat them and flip Florida from red to blue.
Can you rush $5, $10 or even $27 right now - our election is weeks away and we cannot let them beat us down.

Congressman Alan Grayson is our best bet to take on and defeat Rep. Cory Mills in November. Alan has defeated Republican incumbents twice before, fighting for universal healthcare, affordable housing, and equal rights and liberties for all. His track record in Congress speaks for itself, and Alan isn't afraid to take the fight to corrupt politicians in DC and corporate or foreign interests. Alan takes no foreign or special interest PAC money, and will fight for the PEOPLE back in office.
Let's re-elect Democratic Congressman Alan Grayson.

Senator Ashley Moody VA Outdoor Rehab
Official office video · Senator Ashley Moodyvideo · 1:30from 2026-09-04
One of my greatest honors is serving those who served. It's not just an honor, I take it as a an incredible responsibility. And that's why I'm so excited to support and push the Veterans Outdoor Rehabilitation Act. This is a piece of legislation that will make a difference in the lives of so many that answered the call and so many of those who we hope will be inspired to follow in your footsteps. >> It will authorize $10 million annually for the VA to administer grants to state veterans agencies with at least $200,000 available to each state. >> Here in Florida, we have seen what these opportunities can do through Operation Outdoor Freedom. That's led by the Florida Forest Service. Veterans can gain access to a wide range of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, hiking kayaking archery target shooting where you can come together, share common experiences, and serve those that serve. >> Thousands of veterans in Florida have used this opportunity hunting, fishing, getting out in the woods, and it's making them feel good here and here. >> Florida has figured out a recipe for success. That is what inspires me. If it's working, let's build from that. And we want the other states in this nation to learn [music] from what we have achieved. Because it's that commitment to those that stood on that line which has made [music] the USA the greatest country on earth. Thank you so much. >> [applause]

Official office video · Senator Ashley Moodyvideo · 0:29from 2026-08-26
Hello, good morning. We're excited to welcome Secretary Kennedy to Hillsborough County, Florida. As many of you know, this is the county in which I was born and raised and attended school K-12, and so it is great to be at one of our K-12 schools here to talk about kid nutrition and healthy options and what we're doing to make sure we're encouraging healthier habits and healthier kids.

Senator Ashley Moody Natl Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day
Official office video · Senator Ashley Moodyvideo · 1:00from 2026-08-21
Hi, I'm Senator Ashley Moody. On National Fentanel Prevention and Awareness Day, we remember the hundreds of thousands of lives stolen by fentanyl and the families forever changed by this devastating epidemic. Every overdose is more than a statistic. It's a child, a parent, a friend, a family member whose loss leaves an empty seat at the table. We honor their memory by renewing our commitment to end the crisis as Florida's attorney general. And now as your United States senator, I have fought fiercely to hold drug traffickers accountable, secure our border, support law enforcement to stop this deadly poison from reaching our communities. Thankfully, in Florida, we've seen our fentanyl related death rate fall faster than the national average. And while we've made encouraging progress, this work is far from finished. Together, we'll continue fighting to save lives, and we will build a stronger, safer Florida.

Senator Ashley Moody Back to School KOSA
Official office video · Senator Ashley Moodyvideo · 1:01from 2026-08-10
Hi, I'm Senator Ashley Moody and like many of you, I'm sending my child back to school. A new school year means new teachers, new classmates, and exciting opportunities to learn and grow. As many Florida families get back into the rhythm of a new school year, it's important that we work to keep our children safe, not just at school, but online as well. Sadly, we see increasing risks that follow young people into digital spaces where they spend so much of their time. That's why I'm fighting our children by championing the Kids Online Safety Act. This legislation helps guard our youth from online threats like predators and drug dealers. As one of the few mothers to school-age children in the US Senate, I remain committed and passionate at fighting to protect our kids here in Washington. To all of Florida's students, parents, and teachers, I hope you have a safe and successful start to your new year. God bless.

Senator Ashley Moody SWIPES Act
Official office video · Senator Ashley Moodyvideo · 1:14from 2026-08-04
Hi, I'm Senator Ashley Moody. Criminals are constantly finding new ways to steal from hardworking Flidians and our seniors. One way they do this is through gift card fraud. They steal gift cards from store shelves, secretly record the redemption information, and then put the cards back on the rack. Once a customer purchases and loads the card with money, the criminals drain the funds almost instantly. Gift card fraudsters will also call individuals pretending to be someone they are not and con victims, mostly seniors, into providing the redemption information from the gift cards. Within the past two years, there's been two notable cases occurring in Florida where Chinese nationals engaged in gift card fraud schemes targeting grocery stores in at least five of our counties. As Florida's former attorney general, we targeted fraudsters and warned Flidians about these types of schemes. As Florida Senator, I'm continuing that important work by introducing the Swipes Act. This measure would give law enforcement stronger tools to prosecute gift card fraud, close loopholes criminals exploit, and impose tougher penalties on those who knowingly target seniors. We have to stay one step ahead of these criminals, protect our seniors, and make sure that fraud never pays.

Senator Ashley Moody Beth's Burger Bar
Official office video · Senator Ashley Moodyvideo · 0:33from 2026-08-03
It's been a great day back here in Florida where I've gotten to meet with so many people around the state excited about what we've done for workers. No tax on tip, no tax on overtime. I'm here at Beth's Burger Bar and their 70 employees are thrilled. We are so happy to deliver this win for the folks of Florida. I'm keeping at it back in DC, so proud to get back home and report to my boss.

What this page is
An ad is on this page because its own "Paid for by" line is a campaign in this race; or it comes from a national Senate group and ran mostly in FL; or it ran mostly in FL and names a candidate — unless its sponsor is a campaign for some other office. Ads from outside groups appear alongside the campaigns' own.
Campaigns run one text as many separate ads. Identical text from the same sponsor is one card here, marked with its number of variants.
A technique is a specific manipulative move in the wording, found by our model and explained in one line. It is not a claim that the ad is false.
Claims are checked when a reader asks: press "Check this ad's claims" on a card. The check runs once and its result is shown to everyone afterwards. The ten ads with the most money behind them in each race are checked ahead of time.
Claim verdicts say what the cited sources say. A verdict that an ad is wrong or misleading is shown only when it cites an established fact-checker or an institutional record — Congress, a federal agency, a court — and its confidence is not low; a weaker one is not shown at all. Each verdict shows what it rests on and how confident it is. If we got one wrong, press Disagree: a verdict that readers dispute and no one defends comes down.
Video ads come from the campaigns' own YouTube channels; the transcript is analyzed. Meta ads are analyzed on their text; their video and images are not, yet.
